Roots Writers

Prescott, Arizona

Roots in Prescott, Arizona meets once per month either online or in person. In person meetings are usually at Las Fuentes Retirement Center.

This small group is limited to fourteen people. We pray, critique, and encourage each other through each person’s writing goals, whether that person is a life coach, author, international worker, or someone telling stories through blogs and social media. You learn technology and marketing skills and are encouraged to blog here to practice those necessary skills.

Renee Roeder a.k.a “Boots”

I’m still exploring different genres to write but have found out that I truly enjoy poetry mixed in with prose as well as short stories for the young at heart. I like to write for fun. I like to write testimonies about God. I find a lot of similarities between writing and art. Why stick to just painting or just drawing when I can use both or other styles of art?

I am a Graphic Artist by trade and have worked in the printing industry for many years. I have had opportunity to design CD covers that are used for ministry work all across the states and in other countries. I attend Full Throttle Biker Church and do mission oriented work at Biker, Veteran and Celtic events. You can also find me on Twitter (boots4walking2) and Facebook
